Shelton Day Returns Oct. 4th With Music, Food Trucks and a Restaurant Raffle
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park on Canal Street, and proceeds support Rotary scholarships, grants and service projects.
Shelton Day returns Sunday, Oct.4th, filling Veterans Memorial Park near the River Walk on Canal Street with local musicians, crafters and food trucks from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The City of Shelton and the Rotary Club of Derby-Shelton present the festival. A restaurant raffle offers a top prize of $500 in restaurant gift cards.
The day doubles as a fundraiser: the Rotary Club says proceeds support community-service projects, scholarships and grants.
The festival’s website, sheltonday.org, has links for volunteers, vendors, food trucks, sponsors and the raffle. The Rotary Club describes Shelton Day as a rain-or-shine event; check the site for any last-minute updates before heading out.
